DEA means goddess in Latin and Greek — and seraphinite is perhaps the most fitting stone for that name in the entire mineral world. Found only near Lake Baikal in Siberia, it is one of the rarest gemstones we work with at Opaze. Its deep forest green is threaded with luminous silver feathering formed by mica inclusions, and no two beads are ever identical. In rondelle format at 3 mm, alternating with 1.5 mm gold cube accents, the stone's extraordinary character comes through even in miniature — a bracelet that is quietly extraordinary up close.
