NAYA means free spirit in Native American tradition, and this necklace carries that quality in the most resolved combination in the NAYA family. AAA-grade emerald cube beads at 4.5 mm and AAA-grade moonstone heishi beads at 5 mm alternate along the strand, deep forest green meeting pale ethereal luminosity in a rhythm that is both measured and alive. Gold-plated brass accents appear throughout. At 38 cm with a 4 cm extension, it sits close to the collarbone in a position that lets both stones warm against the skin.

Emerald and Moonstone: Two Extraordinary Stones

Emerald has been one of the most prized gemstones for over four thousand years, and its deep green, produced by chromium and vanadium in the beryl crystal structure, has a warmth that sets it apart from all other green stones. The finest come from Colombia, where the geological conditions produce a colour depth and inner glow that remains unmatched. Moonstone, a feldspar mineral from Sri Lanka, India, and Madagascar, carries its own form of inner light in the form of adularescence, a soft blue-white glow that floats beneath the surface and shifts with every movement. Together they create a necklace of unusual depth: the certainty of deep green and the softness of inner light, worn side by side.
