RAYA means paradise or peace in Slavic languages, and this necklace earns both words through a stone combination that is unexpected, precise, and quietly extraordinary. Ruby cube beads at 4 mm bring a foundation of deep, saturated red; a single ametrine bead at the centre holds the composition with its natural colour-zoning, a gradient between amber-gold and violet that forms within a single crystal; and a rare watermelon tourmaline bead at 4 mm adds its signature pink-to-green transition at one point along the strand. Three stones, three colour stories, one piece that changes depending on where the light falls and where you look. At 44 cm with a 4 cm extension, it sits at a length that layers naturally or holds its own worn alone.

Three Gemstones Worth Knowing

Ruby is one of the four traditional precious gemstones and among the most revered in human history. Its deep red, produced by trace chromium in the corundum crystal structure, has been associated with passion, protection, and vital life force across every civilisation that has known it. Ametrine is a naturally occurring combination of amethyst and citrine found almost exclusively in the Anahi mine in Bolivia, where a unique geological phenomenon allows both minerals to form within the same crystal. Its dual colouring is entirely natural and unrepeatable from stone to stone. Watermelon tourmaline, perhaps the most visually joyful stone in the mineral world, forms with a pink interior and green exterior that mirrors the fruit it is named for, a colour combination produced by trace elements shifting during crystal growth and found nowhere else in nature with quite this precision.
