The Energy of Divine Feminine

AKAIA, a name rooted in the concept of divine feminine energy, is one of the most recognisable silhouettes in the Opaze collection. This version brings together green aventurine and pink opal in a combination of colour and energy that is immediately striking: the warm, sun-lit green of the aventurine in 5 mm cube beads carries an energy of opportunity and optimism, while the hand-cut pink opal octagonal pendant at 14 mm responds with a soft, milky rose that speaks of gentleness and the heart. Two stones from opposite ends of the emotional spectrum, held together in a single piece that balances them with complete ease.

Green Aventurine and Pink Opal

Green aventurine is a variety of quartz found primarily in India and Brazil, and its characteristic shimmer, called aventurescence, comes from fuchsite mica inclusions within the stone. It has been considered a stone of luck, abundance, and optimistic forward motion across many traditions, and its colour has a freshness that works in every season and against almost any wardrobe. Pink opal, found primarily in Peru, forms in volcanic rock and develops its characteristic milky rose colouring from organic compounds. Unlike precious opal, it does not display a play of colour, but its softly opaque warmth has a presence that is entirely its own. The octagonal pendant is hand-cut by artisans, its clean geometric facets allowing the stone's colour to read at maximum saturation.
