ZAURA means life in Arabic, and kunzite carries that name with a warmth and openness that feels entirely appropriate. 4.5 mm kunzite cube beads are hand-threaded alongside 2 mm gold-filled round accents, the stone's pale blush-lilac appearing in a clean, rhythmic pattern against the warmth of the gold. Kunzite: The Heart Stone

Kunzite is a variety of the mineral spodumene, first described in 1902 by the gemologist George Frederick Kunz and named in his honour. It is found in Brazil, Afghanistan, Madagascar, and the United States, and its characteristic pale pink to lilac colouring is produced by trace amounts of manganese within the crystal structure. Kunzite belongs to the spodumene family alongside hiddenite, its green counterpart, and is one of the few gemstones that forms in crystals large enough to produce significant faceted stones. It is strongly connected to the heart chakra in crystal traditions, associated with compassion, emotional healing, and the kind of gentle, unconditional love that sustains rather than demands. Its colour, a soft and luminous blush that is neither pink nor purple but something in between, makes it one of the most effortlessly wearable stones in the collection.
