Its vivid green colouring is produced entirely naturally by trace nickel within its silica structure, requiring no heat treatment or enhancement. The stone has been prized since ancient Greece, where it was worn as a talisman of abundance and emotional clarity, and its colour, unlike any other green in the mineral world, has a freshness that reads as modern without effort.
