NERA means radiant, full of light, and this necklace creates that quality through a colour combination that moves between the warm and the vivid in a way that is immediately striking. Mixed beryl rondelles at 3.5 mm, carrying the warm rose-gold tones of morganite and the cool blue-green of aquamarine, line the strand alongside gold accents, while a single 10 mm chrysoprase sphere at the centrepiece adds its vivid apple-green as a punctuation that holds the entire composition together. The three colours should not work and are completely harmonious.

Beryl and Chrysoprase: Two Mineral Worlds

Morganite and aquamarine are both varieties of the mineral beryl, sharing a crystal structure while expressing entirely different colour frequencies: morganite's pale rose from trace manganese, aquamarine's cool blue-green from trace iron. Together as mixed rondelles they create a strand that shifts between warm and cool as the necklace moves. Chrysoprase, by contrast, is a variety of chalcedony rather than beryl, found in Australia, Tanzania, and Brazil, and valued since ancient Greece for its vivid, wholly natural apple-green colouring produced by trace nickel. As a 10 mm pendant sphere it sits at the centrepiece as the focal point that the mixed beryl strand orbits around, giving the necklace a structure and visual logic that feels considered rather than decorative.

The NERA Morganite and Chrysoprase Necklace sits at 41 cm with a 4 cm extension, a length that places it just below the collarbone for easy layering or standalone wear.
